Epitope: Interleukin-1beta (IL-1beta) is a 15-17kD polypeptide with approximately 26% sequence homology to interleukin-1a. An in vitro assay with mouse T-cell line D10S showed half-maximal inhibition of proliferation at an antibody concentration of 50ng/ml when cultivated at a constant IL-1beta concentration of 100pg/ml. Specificity: Mouse: Interleukin-1beta, negative with mouse interleukin-1a. Other species: negative with rat, others not tested
