Epitope
Antibody titers and specificity were analyzed by ELISA assay using control samples by varying concentration of GST-EpoR and control anti-GST antibody. Affinity purified antibody was found to detect EpoR at concentrations of 50 ng/ml. Neutralization of ligand binding has been detected using erythroleukemia cell line TF-1 with 3000 Epo receptors/cell to block Iodine 125 labeled erythropoietin ligand binding. This antibody will recognize EpoR-GST at its migration of 49 kD on SDS-PAGE. High quality secondary anti-sheep reagents are essential for this assay.
