Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CYP26 / CYP26A1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminus of the human CYP 450 26A1 protein.
C-Terminus
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2916 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2916 was determined to be 10 ug/ml.

Packaging

PBS, 0.08% sodium azide. Sourced in TCS.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

About CYP26 / CYP26A1

O43174 NM_000783 NP_000774.2

CYP26A1 Antibody, CYP26 Antibody, Cytochrome P450 26A1 Antibody, Cytochrome P450RAI Antibody, HP450RAI Antibody, p450RAI Antibody, p450RAI1 Antibody, Retinoic acid 4-hydroxylase Antibody, CP26 Antibody

CYP26 / CYP26A1 is a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. This endoplasmic reticulum protein acts on retinoids, including all-trans-retinoic acid (RA), with both 4-hydroxylation and 18-hydroxylation activities.
