  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

AUP1 antibody was raised against a synthetic pentamer-peptide from the n-terminal part of rat, mouse, human, rabbit, sheep ancient ubiquitous protein 1 (AUP1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein.
Appears to be specific for AUP1.
IHC: This antibody works nicely in both paraffin and frozen sections.

Lyophilized. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material
500 µl Sterile water
Maintain the lyophilized/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
For research use only.

AUP1 Antibody, Ancient ubiquitous protein 1 Antibody

The protein encoded this gene is involved in several pathways including quality control of misfolded proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum and lipid droplet accumulation. Lipid droplets are organelles in the cytoplasm that store neutral lipids such as cholesterol esters and trigylycerides to prevent the overabundance of free cholesterol and fatty acids in cells, but also to act as storage for other metabolic processes, such as membrane biogenesis.
