Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human, Mouse (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Monkey (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity)
Protein G purified
Western blot (1 - 3 µg/ml)
Specificity and Use
AcPL / IL18RAP antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 86-100 QQPSNGDPLEDIRKS of human IL-18 Receptor accessory protein/IL-18 RA/AcPL. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human (100%); Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Orangutan, Monkey, Marmoset (93%); Gibbon (87%); Mouse, Rat (53%).
A portion of amino acids 50-100 of human AcPL was used as the immunogen.
AcPL / IL18RAP is an accessory subunit of the heterodimeric receptor for interleukin 18 (IL18), a proinflammatory cytokine involved in inducing cell-mediated immunity. This protein enhances the IL18-binding activity of the IL18 receptor and plays a role in signaling by IL18. Mutations in this gene are associated with Crohn's disease and inflammatory bowel disease, and susceptibility to celiac disease and leprosy.
