Description

3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) substrates react with peroxidase, yielding a soluble blue reaction product. When the TMB-peroxidase reaction is stopped using Stop Solution for (TMB), the chromogen changes from blue to yellow, and the absorbance changes from 620 nm to 450 nm. This product is ideal for detecting very low levels of a target molecule, running samples that must be highly diluted (1:10,000), amplifying the signal when using antibodies with low binding capacity, running samples that exhibit high steric hindrance, and shortening the incubation time of the assay. • Contains: No proteins • Supplied at: 1X • Storage: 2-8°C
