- Alkaline phosphatase substrates are used in ELISA assays to detect alkaline phosphatase-conjugated molecules via a colorimetric enzymatic reaction. pNPP Substrate with Stabilizing Pellets contains para-Nitrophenylphosphate (pNPP). This formulation of pNPP substrate also contains a stabilizer to extend the shelf life of the alkaline phosphatase substrate on your benchtop to 2-3 days. The alkaline phosphatase substrate reaction may be stopped with the use of a stop solution, Stop Solution (AP). • Supplied at: 1X • Storage: 2-8°C, protected from light
