- PBS is commonly used in many laboratory techniques. It is useful as a wash solution, a base for creating custom ELISA buffers, protein dialysis, or running Protein A or Protein G columns. PBS is also a commonly used buffer for immunohistochemical (IHC) staining. Our PBS is supplied as a 10x liquid concentrate.
