Description

This buffer contains proprietary protein stabilizers that provide a long-term stabilizing environment for dried antigen or antibody coat proteins. Stabilization of the coated protein during short- or long-term storage results in better binding reactivity during the immunoassay, reducing the amount of necessary coat protein and increasing assay shelf life. The mammalian ELISA Blocking Buffer (General) formulation is suitable for use in most immunoassays, including antibody sandwich ELISA, competitive assays, and peptide and protein antigen-down ELISA.
