3 Discounted test units are not available with custom formulation orders or ELISA kits, and availability with bulk orders is product dependent and will be confirmed upon request. The submission of a purchase order for the full bulk quantity is required in order to secure a test unit. Test units are shipped and invoiced separately while the remainder of the order is held in reserve for up to 30 days following the date of shipment of the test unit. Upon customer approval, the remainder of the bulk order will be shipped and invoiced. The test unit and subsequent bulk quantity will consist of the same production lot, unless otherwise specified. The customer has the right to cancel the remaining portion of a bulk order at any time within the 30-day evaluation period for the test unit. If shipment is not authorized by the customer within 30 days, the remainder of the order will be automatically canceled without penalty.
ELISA Kit Lot Continuity Policy Each time a new lot of a specific ELISA kit is prepared, precautions are taken to minimize lot-to-lot variability. However, during the course of production, changes may occur in how kits are prepared, such as adjusting reagents and protocols in order to optimize a kit's performance, or to replace components that have become exhausted. For this reason, when a customer requests additional units of a previously purchased and tested ELISA kit, the necessary steps are taken to confirm that those additional kits are prepared to the same specifications, using the same reagents as the previously tested lot. Before issuing a repeat order ELISA bulk quote, LSBio confirms with the lab that sufficient reagents remain to fulfil the order. If a customer intends to purchase a large number of a particular ELISA kit over an extended period, it is highly recommended that they coordinate with LSBio Custom Orders in order to ensure continuity of supply.
Removal of Recombinant Protein Tags LSBio is unable to guarantee that a tag-free version of a protein can be generated. Tag removal by enzyme digestion can cause protein instability and has an overall success rate of ~80%. In the event that tag removal is unsuccessful, the customer is still obligated to pay the full cost of the product. Custom orders involving the removal of protein tags require receipt of full payment prior to initiation.
Custom Order Terms & Conditions Please be aware that orders of greater than 5 units of a single catalog number and custom formulations cannot be returned, and are not eligible for refund unless the product has been determined to be faulty by LSBio's Technical staff. It is strongly recommended that, before ordering a bulk quantity, the end-user order and test at least 1 unit to ensure that it meets their specific requirements. ELISA kits are guaranteed to produce their defined standard curve using the standards included within each kit. Due to the variable nature of end-user samples, LSBio is unable to guarantee that a kit will work with the end-user's sample types. ELISA kits are not stocked as finished goods. Instead, upon receiving an order, a new lot of kits is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets their defined specifications. If you would like to re-order a kit based upon a previously tested lot, please indicate the previous lot number in your order so that the new lot can be assembled using exactly the same reagents.
