Epitope

aa244-277

Specificity

Recognizes recombinant Thrombopoietin (human) and the reactivity of TPO (244-277) is ~60%. Does not react to recombinant EPO (human), ACTH (1-39), Calcitonin (human), Insulin (human), Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (human), Insulin-like Growth Factor 2 (human) and Parathyroid hormone (human). By epitope mapping with synthetic peptides, it was found that this antibody binds to residues 244-277 of human TPO.
