CXCR2 antibody was raised against human CDw128b.
Recognizes the human CDw128b cell surface antigen, also known as the type B interleukin 8 receptor and also as CXCR2. CDw128b is expressed by neutrophils and monocytes, as well as on some subsets of T cells and endothelial cells.
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Flow Cytometry: Neat. Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1E6 cells or 100 ul whole blood. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

CXCR2 is a member of the G-protein-coupled receptor family. This protein is a receptor for interleukin 8 (IL8). It binds to IL8 with high affinity, and transduces the signal through a G-protein activated second messenger system. This receptor also binds to chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 1 (CXCL1/MGSA), a protein with melanoma growth stimulating activity, and has been shown to be a major component required for serum-dependent melanoma cell growth.
