Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CLDN16 / Claudin 16 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human Claudin 16.
C-Terminus
Reacts with mouse Claudin 16. Immunostaining of frozen mouse kidney sections localizes Claudin 16 to the thick ascending limb (TAL) of Henle's loop. This region was ed by an antibody against the Tamm-Horsfall protein, which is also localized to the TAL of Henle's loop in the kidney.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Not suitable for formalin paraffin tissues. Immunofluorescence: 1-3 ug/ml. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 10 ug/ml.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.01% sodium azide, glycerol to 40.

Tight junctions represent one mode of cell-to-cell adhesion in epithelial or endothelial cell sheets, forming continuous seals around cells and serving as a physical barrier to prevent solutes and water from passing freely through the paracellular space. These junctions are comprised of sets of continuous networking strands in the outwardly facing cytoplasmic leaflet, with complementary grooves in the inwardly facing extracytoplasmic leaflet.
