Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CLDN14 / Claudin 14 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide derived from the mid region of the human Claudin-14 protein.
Reacts with the ~22kD human Claudin-14.
Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Immunofluorescence: 3-9 ug/ml; Immunofluorescence assays were performed using human Claudin 14 transfected-MDCK cells that were fixed with 1% paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.2% Triton X-100 and quenched with 50 mM ammonium chloride. Western Blot: 1-3 ug/ml; Claudin-14 oligomers are observed at above 40kD in Western Blot using HepG2 cell lysates. Positive control: WB: Human HepG2 hepatocellular carcinoma cell lysate.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% sodium azide, 40% glycerol.
+4°C or -20°C, Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

CLDN14 Antibody, Claudin 14 Antibody, DFNB29 Antibody, Claudin-14 Antibody

Tight junctions represent one mode of cell-to-cell adhesion in epithelial or endothelial cell sheets, forming continuous seals around cells and serving as a physical barrier to prevent solutes and water from passing freely through the paracellular space. These junctions are comprised of sets of continuous networking strands in the outwardly facing cytoplasmic leaflet, with complementary grooves in the inwardly facing extracytoplasmic leaflet.
