Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse Monoclonal (IgM) to Bovine Clathrin, Heavy Chain (CLTC / CLTCL1)
Bovine, Human, Rat, Pig
IHC - Frozen, Western blot
Bovine Clathrin, Heavy Chain (CLTC / CLTCL1)
Bovine, Human, Rat, Pig (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IHC - Frozen
Western blot (1:100 - 1:500)
Specificity and Use
Coated vesicles (clathrin) of bovine brain.
Species cross-reactivity: Human, bovine, porcine, rat, amphibia. Reactivities on Cultured HeLa, SV-40, RVF-SMC Cell Lines (tested so far). Specifically Detected organs and tissues (egg brain, mammary gland, ovaries). This clone represents an excellent marker for detection of receptor mediated endocytosis (for review cf. e. g. refs. 2 and 3). Polypeptide Reacting Mr 180000 polypeptide (clathrin heavy chain) from coated vesicles of various tissues.
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue) and Western Blot (Western). Immunohistochemistry: 1:10 with PBS, pH 7.4; Incubation Time 1 h at RT. Western Blot: 1:100-1:500 (ECL).
100 µl deionized water
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
