  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

Purified recombinant p18INK4c protein.
For optimum results, immunoprecipitate with Western blot Species cross-reactivity: human, mouse.
Immunofluorescence. Immunoprecipitation (Co-precipitates cdk4) (Use Protein G) (Ab 1-2 ug/mg protein lysate). Western Blot (Ab 1-2 ug/ml for 2hrs at RT). Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin) (Use Ab at 2-4 ug/ml for 30 min at RT) ** (Staining of formalin/paraffin tissues is requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.). Positive control: HeLa cells. Tonsil. The applications listed have been tested for the unmodified form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

About CDKN2C / p18 INK4c

P42773 NM_078626 NP_001253.1

CDKN2C Antibody, CDK6 inhibitor p18 Antibody, CDKN6 Antibody, Cyclin-dependent inhibitor Antibody, p18 INK4c Antibody, p18-INK6 Antibody, INK4C Antibody, p18 Antibody, p18-INK4C Antibody

CDKN2C / p18 INK4c is a member of the INK4 family of cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors. This protein has been shown to interact with CDK4 or CDK6, and prevent the activation of the CDK kinases, thus function as a cell growth regulator that controls cell cycle G1 progression. Ectopic expression of this gene was shown to suppress the growth of human cells in a manner that appears to correlate with the presence of a wild-type RB1 function.
