Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Applications

IHC - Frozen, ICC, Western blot (1:10), Immunoprecipitation, ELISA, Neutralization

Specificity and Use

Reacts with human monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) both natural and recombinant. Inhibits the biological activity of natural and recombinant human MCP-1 No cross-reactivities with other cytokines have been detected.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Neutralization assays. Western Blot: 1:10. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen sections): 1:10. Neutralization: Dependent on the amount of MCP-1 to be inactivated. Note: Before use in biological assays, the product must be filter sterilized and depending on the concentration to be used dialyzed against culture medium to remove the sodium azide added.

Packaging

PBS, 0.02% sodium azide, 0.1% BSA.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C

CCL2 Antibody, C-C motif chemokine 2 Antibody, Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2 Antibody, GDCF-2 Antibody, HC11 Antibody, HSMCR30 Antibody, MCP1 Antibody, SCYA2 Antibody, Small-inducible cytokine A2 Antibody, Monocyte secretory protein JE Antibody, MCAF Antibody, MCP-1 Antibody, Monocyte chemotactic protein 1 Antibody, SMC-CF Antibody

CCL2 / MCP1 is one of several cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Chemokines are a superfamily of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The superfamily is divided into four subfamilies based on the arrangement of N-terminal cysteine residues of the mature peptide. This chemokine is a member of the CC subfamily which is characterized by two adjacent cysteine residues.
