Specificity
Detects a 41-42kD protein (human) and 33kD protein (rat), corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of biliverdin reductase on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from human, mouse, rat, hamster, porcine. The human and rat BVR share some antigenic epitopes and the antibody shows immunochemical cross reactivity.
