Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human, Monkey (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Bat (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1:1000), ELISA (1:5000 - 1:25000)
Specificity and Use
BIVM antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide, C-RNSGYQGYSDYDGND, corresponding to a region near carboxy terminus of the human BIVM protein (KLH). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Panda, Porcine (100%); Bat (93%); Platypus (87%); Turkey, Chicken (80%).
Recognizes human BIVM at the C-terminal. Significant sequence homology exists with many organisms.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. ELISA: 1:5000-1:25000. Western Blot: 1:1000 (57kD). Positive control: Unstimulated HeLa cells.
PBS, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide. No stabilizing proteins added.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
