Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human, Monkey, Mouse, Rat, Xenopus (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Chicken, Zebrafish (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1 µg/ml)
Specificity and Use
BF1 / FOXG1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide (GDRKEVKMIPKSSFS-C) CORRESPONDING TO HUMAN FOXG1B. Molecular Weight: 51.3KD. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Opossum, Xenopus (100%); Chicken, Lizard, Zebrafish (93%); Medaka, Pufferfish (87%).
Recognizes human FOXG1B.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. ELISA Titer:1:250000. Western Blot: 1 ug/ml. Band detected at 55kD using HepG2 cells. A band is detected at 62kD using SK-N-SH, 3T3 cell lines and human brain.
PBS, 0.02% sodium azide, 40% glycerol.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
This gene belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which is characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined; however, it may play a role in the development of the brain and telencephalon.
