Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1 - 3 µg/ml)
Specificity and Use
AURKC / Aurora C antibody was raised against synthetic peptide derived from an internal region of the human Aurora C (Serine/threonine-protein kinase 13, Serine/threonine kinase AIE2, Aurora/IPL1/Eg2 protein 2, Aurora/IPL1-related kinase 3) protein.
Recognizes human Aurora C protein at ~32kD.
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Western Blot: 1-3 ug/ml. Positive control: Human placenta homogenates, and human JEG3, HEPG2, HeLa, HEK293, NGP96, SKNEP-1 and U251 cell lysates.
PBS, pH 7.2, 0.1% sodium azide.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
Serine/threonine-protein kinase component of the chromosomal passenger complex (CPC), a complex that acts as a key regulator of mitosis. The CPC complex has essential functions at the centromere in ensuring correct chromosome alignment and segregation and is required for chromatin-induced microtubule stabilization and spindle assembly. Plays also a role in meiosis and more particularly in spermatogenesis. Has redundant cellular functions with AURKB and can rescue an AURKB knockdown.
