Specificity
Recognizes Astrovirus capsid protein (genus specific). Reacts with all serotypes of human Astrovirus. Does not cross react with Rotavirus (SA11), Adenovirus type 2, 40 and 41, Coxsackievirus types A9 and B2, Norwalk virus 8F11, SRSV, Hawaii virus, Calicivirus human, feline, canine and Snow Mountain virus.
