ALMS1 antibody LS-C47548 is an unconjugated goat polyclonal antibody to human ALMS1. Validated for Peptide-ELISA.
(tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Monkey, Bat, Bovine, Pig (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity)
- Peptide Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (1:32000)
ALMS1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-RVTNQLLGRKVPWD from the C-terminus of human ALMS1 (NP_055935.4). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Monkey (100%); Gibbon, Marmoset, Elephant, Bovine, Bat, Pig (93%); Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Panda, Dog, Horse (86%).

Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-C47548. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.
Human ALMS1. The C terminus of ALMS1 shares an 8 amino acid stretch with two other human proteins: hypothetical protein (XP_169104) and ERAL1 (NP_005693). However, this stretch is located internally in these two proteins and so will most likely not cross-react with this antibody. The N terminus was not chosen as the peptide is expected to cyclise during synthesis.
