Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
ALDP / ABCD1 antibody was raised against aLDP fragment from aa 495-648 as a fusion protein.
Recognizes human adrenoleukodystrophy protein (ALDP). No cross-reactivity on mouse ALDP, mouse ALDRP and PMP 70.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. ELISA: 1:500-1:5000. Western Blot: 1:500-1:5000. Immunohistochemistry: 1:500-1:5000. Immunocytochemistry: 1:500-1:5000.
Short term: 4°C; Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C.
ALDP / ABCD1 is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the ALD subfamily, which is involved in peroxisomal import of fatty acids and/or fatty acyl-CoAs in the organelle.
