Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
AKAP110 / AKAP3 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-TPLQLLDWLMVNL from the C-terminus of human AKAP3 (NP_006413.2). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset (100%); Elephant, Panda, Dog, Bovine, Horse, Rabbit, Pig (92%); Mouse, Rat, Bat, Opossum (85%).
AKAP110 / AKAP3 is a member of A-kinase anchoring proteins (AKAPs), a family of functionally related proteins that target protein kinase A to discrete locations within the cell. The encoded protein is reported to participate in protein-protein interactions with the R-subunit of the protein kinase A as well as sperm-associated proteins. This protein is expressed in spermatozoa and localized to the acrosomal region of the sperm head as well as the length of the principal piece.
