ADAP / FYB antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 755-768 (DNDGEIYDDIADGC) of mouse Fyn binding protein (ADAP/SLAP-130/Fyb) (KLH). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Bovine, Dog, Bat, Horse, Pig (100%); Platypus (93%).
Recognizes ADAP/SLAP-130/Fyb, Mr ~130kD. An unknown protein was also detected, Mr ~40kD that is also inhibited by the immunizing peptide. Species sequence homology: Human and rat.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-rabbit and a chemiluminescence detection system. Immunoprecipitation: 4 ug immunoprecipitated ADAP/SLAP-130/Fyb from 500 ug of RAW. 264.7 macrophage RIPA lysate.
