Specificity and Use
Mouse IgG antibody was raised against mouse IgG1 heavy chain.
anti-Alkaline Phosphatase (calf intestine) and anti-Rabbit Serum. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1 % cross reactivity against other mouse heavy or light chain isotypes
Suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA and immunohistochemistry as well as other phosphatase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency. This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Mouse IgG in a standard capture ELISA using pNPP p-nitrophenyl phosphate catalog no. NPP-10 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature.
0.05 M Tris chloride, 0.15 M sodium chloride, 0.001 M magnesium chloride, 0.0001 M zinc chloride, 50% glycerol, pH 8.0, 10 mg/ml BSA (IgG, protease free), 0.01% sodium azide.

About Mouse IgG
Representing approximately 75% of serum antibodies, IgG is the most common type of antibody found in the circulation. IgG molecules are created and released by plasma B cells. IgG antibodies are large molecules of about 150 kDa made of four peptide chains. It contains two identical class gamma heavy chains of about 50 kDa and two identical light chains of about 25 kDa. The two heavy chains are linked to each other and to a light chain each by disulfide bonds.
