Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Rat Monoclonal [clone KM585] (IgG2a) to Mouse PRF1 / Perforin
Mouse PRF1 / Perforin
Mouse (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG2a Monoclonal [KM585]
Specificity and Use
PRF1 / Perforin antibody was raised against recombinant mouse perforin fragment encompassing 172 amino acid residues( HIS189-Cys360) which contains the membrane binding domain and part of the EGF-Type cystine-rich domain.
Reacts with both Mouse and Human Perforin. Others not tested.
Ascites, 0.1% sodium azide
Store at 4°C for short term applications. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Plays a key role in secretory granule-dependent cell death, and in defense against virus-infected or neoplastic cells. Plays an important role in killing other cells that are recognized as non-self by the immune system, e.g. in transplant rejection or some forms of autoimmune disease. Can insert into the membrane of target cells in its calcium-bound form, oligomerize and form large pores. Promotes cytolysis and apoptosis of target cells by facilitating the uptake of cytotoxic granzymes.
