This affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids from an internal region of Mouse Gli-2.

A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Gli-2 from mouse and rat sources based on 100% sequence homology with the immunogen. Reactivity with Gli-2 from other sources is not known.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B75 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B75 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.
