Specificity
Specific for Dopamine Receptor D4. Mouse Dopamine receptor D4 is a 387 aa, G-protein coupled and transmembrane receptor protein. The immunogen peptide shows no significant homology with other dopamine receptors (D1, D2, D3 or D5). Species Reactivity: the immunogen peptide shows sequence homology of 90% with rat and human D4 receptors.
Applications
- Western blot (1 - 10 µg/ml)
- ELISA (0.5 - 1 µg/ml)
Usage
Western blot: 1-10 ug/ml (Chemiluminescence technique). Approximately 100-400 ug of membrane protein/lane should be loaded to visualize the receptor band. Immunohistochemistry: Has not been tested. It is recommended that the antibody be used at 1-20 ug/ml on paraformaldehyde fixed sections. ELISA: 0.5-1.0 ug/ml (1 ug/ml immunogen peptide/well).
