APOE / Apolipoprotein E Antibody - Apolipoprotein E antibody IHC-paraffin: Human Placenta Tissue.
APOE / Apolipoprotein E Antibody - Apolipoprotein E antibody Western blot. All lanes: Anti Apolipoprotein E at 0.5 ug/ml. WB: Human Placenta Tissue Lysate at 50 ug. Predicted band size: 36 kD. Observed band size: 36 kD.
APOE / Apolipoprotein E Antibody - Flow Cytometry analysis of HepG2 cells using anti-Apolipoprotein E antibody. Overlay histogram showing HepG2 cells stained with anti-Apolipoprotein E antibody (Blue line). The cells were blocked with 10% normal goat serum. And then incubated with rabbit anti-Apolipoprotein E Antibody (1µg/10E6 cells) for 30 min at 20°C. DyLight®488 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (5-10µg/10E6 cells) was used as secondary antibody for 30 minutes at 20°C. Isotype control antibody (Green line) was rabbit IgG (1µg/10E6 cells) used under the same conditions. Unlabelled sample (Red line) was also used as a control.

Immunogen
E.coli-derived human Apolipoprotein E recombinant protein (Position: K19-H317). Human Apolipoprotein E shares 73% and 72% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat Apolipoprotein E, respectively.
Epitope
aa19-317
Specificity
Occurs in all lipoprotein fractions in plasma. It constitutes 10-20% of very low density lipoproteins (VLDL) and 1-2% of high density lipoproteins (HDL). APOE is produced in most organs. Significant quantities are produced in liver, brain, spleen, lung, adrenal, ovary, kidney and muscle.
Applications
  • IHC
  • IHC - Paraffin
  • Western blot
