WLS / GPR177

wntless Wnt ligand secretion mediator

Regulates Wnt proteins sorting and secretion in a feedback regulatory mechanism. This reciprocal interaction plays a key role in the regulation of expression, subcellular location, binding and organelle-specific association of Wnt proteins. Plays also an important role in establishment of the anterior-posterior body axis formation during development.

Gene Name: wntless Wnt ligand secretion mediator
Synonyms: WLS, C1orf139, G protein-coupled receptor 177, Protein wntless homolog, MRP, Wntless homolog (Drosophila), EVI, GPR177
Target Sequences: NM_024911 NP_079187.3 Q5T9L3

WLS / GPR177 Antibody - Immunohistochemistry image at a dilution of 1:200 and staining in paraffin-embedded human adrenal gland tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0) . Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4 °C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
