T Cell Receptor Beta Constant 1

The T cell receptor (TCR) is a heterodimer). In humans 95% of T cells the TCR consists of an alpha and beta chain, and in 5% of T cells the TCR consists of gamma and delta chains. This ratio changes during ontogeny and in diseased states as well as in different species. TRBC1 encodes the C region of the T-cell receptor beta-1 chain.
