TACR3 / NK3R

tachykinin receptor 3

This is a receptor for the tachykinin neuropeptide neuromedin-K (neurokinin B). It is associated with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The rank order of affinity of this receptor to tachykinins is: neuromedin-K > substance K > substance P.

Gene Name: tachykinin receptor 3
Family/Subfamily: GPCR , Tachykinin
Synonyms: TACR3, HH11, Nmk-r, NK3R, NKR, Tachykinin receptor 3, Neurokinin B, Neurokinin B receptor, NK-3 receptor, NK-3R, TAC3R, Neurokinin 3 receptor, Neurokinin beta receptor, Neuromedin-K receptor, TAC3RL
Target Sequences: NM_001059 NP_001050.1 P29371
