NLGN4Y

neuroligin 4, Y-linked

NLGN4Y is a type I membrane protein that belongs to the family of neuroligins, which are cell adhesion molecules present at the postsynaptic side of the synapse, and may be essential for the formation of functional synapses. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.

Gene Name: neuroligin 4, Y-linked
Synonyms: NLGN4Y, Neuroligin 4, Y linked, Neuroligin 4, Y-linked, Neuroligin Y, KIAA0951, Neuroligin-4, Y-linked
Target Sequences: NP_055708.3 Q8NFZ3

NLGN4Y Antibody - Immunohistochemical analysis of Neuroligin Y staining in human prostate formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
