MDM1

Mdm1 nuclear protein homolog

MDM1 encodes a nuclear protein similar to the mouse double minute 1 protein. The mouse gene is located in double minute (DM) chromatin particles, is amplified in the mouse transformed 3T3 cell line, and the encoded protein is able to bind to p53. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Gene Name: Mdm1 nuclear protein homolog
Synonyms: MDM1, Nuclear protein MDM1
Target Sequences: NM_017440 NP_059136.2 Q8TC05

MDM1 Antibody - Staining NIH-3T3 cells by IF/ICC. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 min at 25°C. The primary antibody was diluted at 1:200 and incubated with the sample for 1 hour at 37°C. An Alexa Fluor 594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) antibody, diluted at 1/600, was used as secondary antibody.
