Human IgG3

Human Immunoglobulin G3 (IgG3) is a less abundant subclass of Immunoglobulin G that constitutes around 4% of total IGG. IgG3 has a molecular mass of 170 kD, a mean adult serum level of 0.5 g/l and a half life of between 7 and 21 days depending on the individual. IgG3 is a pro-inflammatory antibody and is the first to appear in viral infections (PMID 25368619).
