HTR7 / 5HT7 Receptor

5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin) receptor 7, adenylate cyclase-coupled

5-HT7 Receptor (HTR7 )is a serotonin receptor with several functions, including regulation of the circadian rhythm and mediation of smooth-muscle relaxation in the vasculature and GI tract. HTR7 has been implicated in depression, autistic, and other neuropsychiatric disorders. Three protein isoforms have been documented: isoform a: 445aa; isoform b: 432aa; isoform d: 479aa.
