EDEM3

ER Degradation Enhancer, Mannosidase Alpha-like 3

Involved in endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD). Accelerates the glycoprotein ERAD by proteasomes. This process depends on mannose-trimming from the N-glycans. Seems to have alpha 1,2-mannosidase activity.

Gene Name: ER Degradation Enhancer, Mannosidase Alpha-like 3
Synonyms: EDEM3, C1orf22
Target Sequences: NM_025191 NP_079467.3 Q9BZQ6
