Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

CYBA / p22phox Antibodies

cytochrome b-245, alpha polypeptide

Cytochrome b is composed of cytochrome b alpha (CYBA; flavocytochrome b-558) and beta (CYBB; flavocytochrome b-245) chain. It has been proposed as a primary component of the microbicidal oxidase system of phagocytes. CYBA deficiency is associated with chronic granulomatous disease (CGD). In this disorder, there is decreased activity of phagocyte NADPH oxidase; neutrophils are able to phagocytize bacteria but cannot kill them in the phagocytic vacuoles. The cause of the killing defect is an inability to increase the cell's respiration and consequent failure to deliver activated oxygen into the phagocytic vacuole.

Gene Name: cytochrome b-245, alpha polypeptide

Featured CYBA / p22phox Antibody

LS-B12659 is a rabbit polyclonal antibody that LifeSpan has tested extensively in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and is an excellent antibody for use in formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissues. Multiple tissues were immunolabeled and the results were interpreted by a LifeSpan pathologist. This image shows an example of staining in formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissue.
