CD27L / CD70

CD70 molecule

CD27L / CD70 is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This cytokine is a ligand for TNFRSF27/CD27. It is a surface antigen on activated, but not on resting, T and B lymphocytes. It induces proliferation of costimulated T cells, enhances the generation of cytolytic T cells, and contributes to T cell activation. This cytokine is also reported to play a role in regulating B-cell activation, cytotoxic function of natural killer cells, and immunoglobulin sythesis.

Gene Name: CD70 molecule
Family/Subfamily: TNF , not assigned-TNF
Synonyms: CD70, CD27LG, Ki-24 antigen, Surface antigen CD70, CD27 ligand, CD27-L, CD70 antigen, CD70 molecule, TNFSF7
Target Sequences: NM_001252 NP_001243.1 P32970

CD27L / CD70 Protein - Stability testing for Mouse CD27L: Mouse CD27L was aliquoted in PBS, pH 7 at 0.2 mg/ml and was treated as follow: one aliquot was kept at 4?°C (control), another was freeze-thawed four times (4x freeze-thaws), one incubated for seven days at room temperature (RT), and another incubated at 37?°C for one week. After this procedure, the samples were tested for their ability to induce proliferation of mouse T cells when anti-CD3 (1 µg/ml, Cat. No. 100207) is immobilized.
