ASMTL

Acetylserotonin O-methyltransferase-like

ASMTL has an N-terminus that is similar to the multicopy associated filamentation (maf) protein of Bacillus subtilis and to orfE of Escherichia coli, while the C-terminus is similar to N-acetylserotonin O-methyltransferase. This gene is located in the pseudoautosomal region 1 (PAR1) of X and Y chromosomes. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Gene Name: Acetylserotonin O-methyltransferase-like
Synonyms: ASMTL, ASTML, ASMTLY, ASMTLX
Target Sequences: NM_004192 NP_004183.2 O95671

ASMTL Antibody - Immunohistochemical analysis of ASMTL staining in human gastric cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
