EMR4P / EMR4 / GPR127 / EGF-Like Module-Containing Mucin-Like Receptor 4

EGF-Like Module Containing Mucin-Like Hormone Receptor-Like Sequence 4 (EMR4) is characterized as an Orphan-B GPCR with an unknown ligand. EMR4 has two epidermal growth factor-like domains in the extracellular region. The mouse homolog, FIRE, may be a useful marker of dendritic cell development. mEMR4 is the first EGF-TM7 receptor known to mediate the cellular interaction between myeloid cells and B cells.
