Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

E. coli Expression System
Over-Expression Lysate Protein
SLC39A6 / LIV-1
This is GST-tagged recombinant SLC39A6 protein, expressed in E. coli, and supplied as a protein lysate. It is sufficient for use as a Western Blot standard and comes pre-loaded with Bromophenol blue dye.
Lyophilized from 0.1M Tris-HCl (pH 6.8) buffer containing 0.2M DTT, 4% SDS, 0.2% Bromophenol blue and 20% Sucrose.
SLC39A6 Protein, LIV1 Protein, LIV-1 Protein, ZIP-6 Protein, Zrt- and Irt-like protein 6 Protein, Zinc transporter ZIP6 Protein, ZIP6 Protein
LIV-1/Slc39A6 belongs to the LZT (LIV-1 subfamily of ZIP zinc transporters) subfamily of zinc transporters. These proteins control the levels of zinc in cells, which is an essential ion for cells that plays a role in controlling the cellular processes of the cell, such as growth, development and differentiation. Originally isolated from breast carcinoma, high levels of LIV-1 have been associated with better outcomes for breast carcinoma patients.
