Rat FGF2 / Basic FGF Protein (Recombinant) - LS-G23762
Predicted Molecular Weight
Basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF), also known as FGF2, is expressed by endothelial cells and is a mediator of angiogenesis. bFGF also has cardioprotective functions during heart injury. bFGF binds heparin in order to signal through fibroblast growth factor (FGF) receptor tyrosine kinases. This product is produced with no animal or human origin raw products. All processing and handling employs animal free equipment and animal free protocols.
