Bio-Activity
Inhibits the IL-6 induced expression of IL-36alpha (IL-1F6), IL-36beta (IL-1F8), and IL-36gamma (IL-1F9) in BMDCs. 1µg/ml of IL-36Ra inhibits the activity of 10 ng to 100 ng/ml of the agonists.

IL-36Ra (aa 3-156) (mouse) (rec.) inhibits IL-36alpha, IL-36beta, IL-36gamma-dependent expression of IL-6 in mouse BMDCs. Method: Bone marrow cells were differentiated into bone marrow-derived dendritic cells (BMDCs) using GM-CSF (20ng/ml) for 10 days. BMDCs were cultured with or without IL-36Ra, IL-36alpha, IL-36beta, IL-36gamma, or LPS at indicated concentrations for 72 h. Cell supernatants were then harvested and IL-6 levels determined by ELISA.
