Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Malic Enzyme activity was assayed spectrophotometrically at 340nm as described in Mandela and Sauer (1975). The standard reaction mixture contained 50 mM Tris-HCl, 3 mM MnCl2, 5 mM malate, 0.12 mM NADP+, 2.5 mM fumarate.
Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered PBS, pH 7.4
Reconstitute in sterile distilled water to 0.1-1 mg/ml.
Long term: -80°C; Short term: -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
ME2 / Malate Dehydrogenase 2 encodes a mitochondrial NAD-dependent malic enzyme, a homotetrameric protein, that catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of malate to pyruvate. It had previously been weakly linked to a syndrome known as Friedreich ataxia that has since been shown to be the result of mutation in a completely different gene. Certain single-nucleotide polymorphism haplotypes of this gene have been shown to increase the risk for idiopathic generalized epilepsy.
