Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Purified / Endotoxin Level: Less than 1.0 EU/µg protein (determined by LAL method).
KLK5 / Kallikrein 5
KLK5 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 252 amino acids (67-293) and having a molecular mass of 27.8kDa.KLK5 is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Greater than 90% by SDS-PAGE
20mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 2M Urea, 20% Glycerol.
Short term: 4°C. Long term: Add carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. This gene is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. Its expression is up-regulated by estrogens and progestins. The encoded protein is secreted and may be involved in desquamation in the epidermis.
