Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Purified / Lyophilized / Biologically Active / Endotoxin Level: Less than 1.0 EU/µg protein (determined by LAL method).
IL6ST / CD130 / gp130
Met 1-Ile 618
Greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE
1. Measured by its ability to bind human IL11Ra in a functional ELISA. 2. Measured by its ability to inhibit the IL6 Ra enhancement of IL6 activity on M1 mouse myeloid leukemia cells (Saito, T. et al. 1991, J. Immunol. 147:168.). The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.05-0.15 µg/ml in the presence of 50 ng/ml recombinant human IL6sR and 100 ng/ml recombinant human IL6.
Less than 1.0 EU/µg protein (determined by LAL method).
Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4
Store it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
IL6ST / CD130 / gp130 is a signal transducer shared by many cytokines, including interleukin 6 (IL6), ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF), leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF), and oncostatin M (OSM). This protein functions as a part of the cytokine receptor complex. The activation of this protein is dependent upon the binding of cytokines to their receptors.
