Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Determined by its ability to inhibit the IL-4-dependent proliferation of human TF-1 cells. The expected ED50 is = 5.0 ng/ml (in the presence of 0.5 ng/ml of hIL-4), corresponding to a specific activity of = 2 x 105 units/mg.
Less than 0.1 ng/µg of protein (less than 1EU/µg).
Lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.0
Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute in water to 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex. This solution can be stored at 2-8°C for up to 1 week.
IL4R / CD124 is the alpha chain of the interleukin-4 receptor, a type I transmembrane protein that can bind interleukin 4 and interleukin 13 to regulate IgE production. The encoded protein also can bind interleukin 4 to promote differentiation of Th2 cells. A soluble form of the encoded protein can be produced by proteolysis of the membrane-bound protein, and this soluble form can inhibit IL4-mediated cell proliferation and IL5 upregulation by T-cells.
